PATIENT JOURNEY of Mayank Tiwari
Hello, my name is Mayank Tiwari, and I work as a software engineer on the nightshift because my employer is based in the United States, and our Indian night shift is the same as their day shift. I was sharing a leased room with three companions, and we didn't cook at home; instead, we ordered food from nearby hotels. We had a habit of eating junk food, fried dishes like bread pakoda, macaroni, noodles, and French fries on a regular basis.
I felt a sudden ache in the left side of my stomach one day while working; I assumed it was due to a gas problem, so I disregarded it and went about my business. After a few days, the same problem arose again, with the pain being more intense than before. This time, I resolved to see a doctor, so when I awoke after the night shift, I went to a local physician, who was not an MBBS doctor but was a good general physician, who asked about my problem and prescribed some medications, as well as telling me that it was not a serious problem and that I should not be concerned.
Because the prescription was for ten days, I took the medications for a few days. The discomfort was completely gone, and I felt great after being relieved of the condition; I was relaxed and tension-free, and I didn't believe there was any severe problem. I went on with my work and eventually forgot about the situation.

After around 15 days, I began to have stomach ache while showering, which was so severe that I could no longer stand it. I instantly exited the bathroom and sat in the chair with my stomach supported by the supporting hands. This time, I was astonished when the pain returned despite the fact that I had received therapy for my stomach ache from a local physician.
Now, I was quite serious this time because it was interfering with my daily routine and causing difficulties in my professional advancement, so I decided to seek the advice of a stomach specialist. I contacted some of my Delhi-based friends for recommendations on reputable doctors, and one of them, who resides in Netaji Subhash Palace, told me about KARMA AYURVEDA hospital and Dr. Puneet. I made up my decision the next day and boarded the bus to Netaji Subhash Palace, where I met with Doctor Puneet.
I met him in his office, and he was extremely polite. He questioned me about my full condition, and he explained that if you have a reoccurring problem, you need first get an entire body function checkup, including kidneys. So he suggested that I get a total kidney checkup, and I agreed, saying that I would get a full body checkup.
After receiving the results, it was discovered that I have a kidney stone, which is the source of my suffering. I immediately checked with Dr. Puneet again, and he said, "Don't worry, we'll give you drugs for 15 days and you'll have to make some dietary changes, such as avoiding fast foods and eating less fatty foods, and you'll have to do some basic exercise as well."
I agreed with Dr. Puneet's advice and took the prescribed amount. After 10 days, I felt completely relieved because my kidney stone had dissolved and been eliminated through faces. I no longer have any symptoms, and I am feeling much better and more enthusiastic. Thank you, Karma Ayurveda, and in particular, Dr. Puneet.
